Evan and Lynn loved letterpress and they wanted to include the beautiful many colors of wildflowers that would be at the wedding. Normally lots of colors and letterpress are not something that go hand in hand. But as you may know, we like to get creative here at The Goodness when faced with a challenge. We were able to create a design that was whimsical, fun and natural, while incorporating bright colors by creative use of materials.
Save the Date // The save the date was a letterpress printed postcard. Our design was letterpressed text and flowers with hand painted watercolor flowers. We painted each stem and flower by hand to create something that was one of a kind for each guest. On the back we used custom rubber stamps for the information and return address.
Invitation Suite // When it came time to design the invitations, we wanted to keep a lot of the design from the save the date by using some of the same fonts. The end result was modern, natural, and not-too-formal. Again, including color here was essential, and our solution was a beautiful patterned fabric belly band. Again we used letterpress in two colors which added depth to the design.
Day of Stationery // We created these escort cards with cute fish (for the salmon dish) and mushroom (for the vegetarian mushroom risotto) graphics. We also design a tent-style menu and custom guestbook using their engagement photos.
